The Winning Institute from our Women's Institute Family Favourites recipe books has been announced. Congratulations to the 'Mobberley WI' from Cheshire.

Family Favourites’ was inspired by Rachael Walton, one of our directors, and became far more than just a mouth-watering idea when we asked real-world chefs to provide their culinary expertise. The idea was to produce a cookbook of recipes that are tasty, down to earth and represent the foods we really eat. Since then we have received hundreds of ‘Family Favourites’. There have been cakes made just the way Granny (or even Great Granny) used to make them, mouth-watering main dishes and deliciously indulgent desserts… all of which tempt you into trying your hand whether you’re head chef or dad-chef material. There are sizzling snacks and regional specialities suitable for any (and every) occasion. The chefs within the books have contributed not only their recipes but their tips, suggestions and knowledge as well as explaining why their dish is so special. This friendly and personal touch allows you to flick through and pick recipes that are perfect for you and your family. In short, we are sure that some of these ‘Family Favourites’ will become your family’s favourites.
