The winning Institute from our Women's Institute Family Favourites recipe books has been announced. Congratulations to the 'Mobberley WI' from Cheshire. Mobberley WI Secretary Gwyneth Moores said ' We thought the recipes typically in the WI tradition, easy to follow, producing tasty simple meals. We are now a small insitute of 28, founded in 1928. Like many such institutes we are often pressed for money so your Cheque is particulary appreciated. We intend to put a £100 towards a bursary for a member to go on a course at Denman W.I. College in Oxfordshire, part towards a celebration, and the rest into general funds to help pay for speakers.'.
